Generating Summaries

Navigate to Your Dashboard

Go to your team dashboard and select the "Summaries" tab to access the summary generator.

Choose Your Summary Type

Select between time-based summaries (weekly/monthly) or feature summaries (for Jira-linked work).

Select Date Range or Feature

Pick the time period or Jira epic you want to summarize. The AI will analyze all merged PRs in that scope.

Review and Share

Edit the generated summary if needed, then copy to clipboard or export as markdown for your communication channels.

Setup Requirements

Time-based summaries work automatically once your repositories are connected. For feature/epic summaries, you'll need to:

  • Connect your Jira workspace from the integrations page
  • Include Jira issue keys in PR titles or descriptions (e.g., "PROJ-123: Add login feature")
  • PRs will be automatically linked to Jira issues for easy grouping
